dB MACH 3: Non-contacting ultrasonic transducers for flow applications
Pulsar’s full range of ultrasonic transducers can be used for flow measurement however, there are two specific designs that have been specially created for flow applications.
The dBMACH3 is the first ultrasonic transducer with zero effective blanking distance.

• ±1mm accuracy
• ±0.5 resolution

dB3 with Double Sun Shields
The dB3 with Double Sun Shields adds extra solar radiation protection to the transducer to ensure that the internal temperature compensation can be utilised..
Features for the dB3 with Double Sun Shields flow transducer:
• 0.125 – 3m measurement range (0.41 – 10ft)
• Accuracy: 0.25% or 6mm whichever is greater
• Resolution: 0.01% or 2mm whichever is greater
• IP68/NEMA 6P
• ATEX Zones 1 & 2 approval standard. ATEX Zone 0 optional
